Oceanbridge Adopts Patuone Reserve
- January 2022
Oceanbridge has established a corporate partnership with the Auckland Biodiversity Community Conservation team. We are collaborating with Auckland Council, Pupuke Birdsong Project, local volunteer groups, and residents to undertake clean-ups, restoration plantings, as well as trapping pests.
Part of this collaboration includes adopting our very own park. Our Auckland office overlooks Patuone Estuary Reserve, and this was the obvious choice to give back to the local community and improve the neighbouring environment. After volunteering at Patuone Reserve since December 2020, the park was officially adopted by Oceanbridge on the 21st October 2021 and for at least the next three years Oceanbridge will help restore this special ecological area.
Teams of staff from our Auckland office have spent afternoons and weekends planting trees and mulching and the improvements over the last year have been remarkable.
We are looking forward to seeing what the future brings for our adopted piece of paradise.
